No magic - just our painstaking joint work on the site

In today’s hospitality market, a hotel website is more than a place to list amenities, room photos, and contact details — it’s a primary tool for attracting guests and shaping first impressions. To present La Gioconda Boutique Hotel convincingly online, the Sprava Agency team designed a visually appealing, informative, and user-friendly platform. In this case study, we walk through our process and the new capabilities the client gained through our collaboration.
La Gioconda: A Boutique Hotel with Italian Flair
La Gioconda is positioned as a five-star boutique hotel. Its exterior and interiors evoke a luxurious Renaissance-style Italian villa. The Odesa property features 15 individually designed rooms with panoramic sea views and its own lavender field. On site, guests will find a restaurant serving local and European cuisine, a pool, and a sauna. The hotel offers spa services and hosts weddings and banquets. It’s an exceptional setting for unforgettable seaside stays and milestone celebrations for both adults and children.
Why the Hotel Needed a New Website
The client approached Sprava Agency to develop a new site to replace the previous one, which was light on content and visually outdated. Due to shelling and a reduced volume of guests, the upgrade had been postponed for a long time. Because the original site was created years ago and the connection with the previous developers had been lost, building a new project from scratch was the most practical path.
Initially, the client requested WordPress. However, for a premium hotel — where every detail matters — we recommended a more distinctive and faster solution. We proposed our custom Sprava CMS, engineered to align with Google’s requirements and algorithms, enabling a flexible platform that’s fully prepared for SEO.
How We Delivered the Project
Over the course of roughly 3.5 months, our cross-functional team completed the following:
- Designed layouts for key page types: home page, category/section pages, and individual room pages.
- Engineering: developed the admin panel and implemented page templates.
- Content population: added client-provided copy, media, and room details.
- Performance optimization: tuned site speed for a fast, smooth browsing experience.
In effect, we laid a strong foundation for the hotel’s ongoing digital growth and marketing.
Results of the Engagement
The previous site struggled with layout issues and slow page load times, making it difficult to present the property at its best. The new platform looks modern, captures the hotel’s atmosphere, provides clearly structured information about rooms and services, and enables visitors to book online for their preferred dates.
Looking ahead, the client plans to continue evolving the project — introducing new features that strengthen brand recognition, build trust, and attract more guests.
