No magic - just our painstaking joint work on the site

Over time, even successful companies face the reality that their websites no longer meet modern standards. At first, a site may simply look a bit outdated, but it still does the job: visitors can find the information they need, and online forms continue to capture leads. Eventually, though, the site starts to lose ground to competitors with more appealing visuals, users leave more quickly, and the number of inquiries declines.
That’s when it becomes clear: website design isn’t just about nice graphics — it’s about competitiveness, customer trust, and real business results. Sprava Agency faced exactly this challenge. At one point, we realized that although our website was functioning properly, it no longer reflected our agency’s level of expertise and needed a serious refresh. Just a few months after launching the redesigned version, we saw measurable improvements. This case study explains how we managed the project and what results we achieved.
Who We Are at Sprava Agency
Sprava is a full-cycle digital marketing agency with over 20 years of experience in the market. We help companies build systematic online marketing strategies using SEO, Google Ads, and targeted advertising. Our team also develops websites and provides comprehensive technical support — from hosting and domain management to SSL certification and ongoing updates.
Our clients are primarily mid-sized businesses across diverse industries, including e-commerce, healthcare, legal services, HR, and travel. While our core markets are Ukraine and Europe, we also have extensive experience working with companies in Canada and the United States.
The Website’s Challenges and Project Goals
Our previous agency website did its job, but it looked outdated and no longer showcased our expertise or the scale of our services. A redesign was necessary to align with current design and usability trends.
Our key goals for the redesign were:
- Presenting our services in a modern, visually appealing format.
- Incorporating design trends without overloading the site with animations or heavy elements.
- Maintaining search rankings and organic traffic throughout the transition.
- Improving user experience and driving more inquiries.
Above all, we wanted a site that reflected our agency’s modern image, worked as a powerful marketing tool, and met today’s SEO and usability standards.
How We Approached the Redesign
To bring our vision to life, we partnered with the design team at Looksgreat. Their role was to develop a new brand identity, brand book, and website design. Meanwhile, Sprava Agency’s team handled all SEO and technical aspects—site structure, usability, layout, content migration, optimization, and final technical checks.
The collaboration process included several stages:
- Briefing – We provided detailed information about our agency, redesign objectives, and expectations.
- Moodboard and UX – Looksgreat proposed several design concepts. We opted for a minimalist approach, focusing on what works best for clients.
- UI Design – The most time-intensive stage. We tested at least six iterations of the homepage’s first screen before settling on a version that balanced modern style, minimalism, and strong visual accents.
- Layout and content transfer. Since the site includes hundreds of pages (service descriptions, blog posts, case studies, and portfolio items), content migration was a significant effort.
The new design is clean, uncluttered, and directs user attention to key information and calls to action.
Notably, the branding created by Looksgreat for Sprava was recognized on Behance as one of the best in brand design — a strong endorsement of both its creativity and ability to capture the essence of our brand.
We eliminated redundant headers for different devices and avoided hiding important text. On the technical side, we optimized site speed (critical for SEO), enhanced stability and security, and streamlined ongoing maintenance. A final optimization check ensured our Google rankings would remain stable after launch.
