The translation agency that approached Sprava Agency is located in Kyiv, with four offices in different parts of the city.

With 15 years of experience, the company offers:

  • issuance of criminal record certificates.

The agency's staff is proficient in 55 languages, including rare ones, and they handle translations in fields such as:

The company serves both individuals and businesses. Services can be ordered in-person at the office or remotely.

Goals and Objectives

Before contacting us, the client had a website with decent metrics. The translation agency's services appeared on the first page of Google search results. However, after developing a new site and moving to a new domain, those positions were lost.

Our task was to bring service pages into the top 5 for highly competitive queries like "translation agency" and "apostille." The overarching goals were to increase site conversions, boost the number of orders, and subsequently, increase revenue. The project’s promotion was expected to not only expand the company’s target audience and revenue but also attract new employees and facilitate business growth..

What We Did

After conducting an audit, we noticed the landing page texts were not informative.

We developed a content plan for most services, created new descriptions, and added tables with prices, benefits, and collaboration steps.

We also:
  • developed a semantic core to guide changes to the site’s structure and content creation;
  • fixed technical errors, including removing duplicate pages;
  • optimized service pages according to search engine requirements;
  • made the Ukrainian version of the site the primary one as per language laws;
  • acquired backlinks;
  • optimized the Google Maps listing;
  • added ratings and displayed them in search snippets.

These actions helped improve the pages’ positions in Google search results and made the site visible to the "warm" audience interested in translation services. We have been working on this project since June 2023 and continue to do so.

Results Achieved

From June of last year to April of this year, we increased the number of new visitors from 260 to 2005 per month. Over 11 months, search traffic grew eightfold. The growth dynamics can be tracked on the graph below, which shows that the primary source of traffic is organic search.

During the same period, the number of conversions increased tenfold from 26 to 261. Consequently, the company’s revenue also grew. This means we achieved our goal and are ready to set even more ambitious targets. ????

We started by making the Ukrainian version of the site primary and creating a new 'ru' folder.

We then addressed technical issues like hreflang errors, 404s, broken images, unsecured http pages, and took steps to improve site speed.

Next, we optimized priority service pages by creating a content plan, writing new texts, internal linking, adding alt attributes to images, and creating headers.

In addition to priority services, we optimized secondary pages, improving the overall quality of the site and boosting its efficiency. Currently, the site’s rankings are growing thanks to high-frequency queries, and traffic is increasing due to low-frequency ones. We plan to continue working with the current core and expand it with additional services.
