No magic - just our painstaking joint work on the site

To make your offerings visible in Google search results and attract potential customers, promoting your website is a must. SEO (Search Engine Optimization) is a powerful tool that drives organic traffic without the ongoing cost of advertising. Ideally, SEO should be implemented during the site development phase — but even if it’s overlooked initially, the situation can always be improved.
The Sprava Agency team was able to deliver consistent, growing traffic to the website of AcademGo, a Polish agency that helps international students gain admission to universities in Poland. Here's a breakdown of what we achieved and how we did it.
AcademGo: Supporting International Applicants Who Want to Study in Poland
AcademGo is a consulting agency based in Warsaw that specializes in assisting international students with university admissions in Poland. Their service offering includes:
- Academic consultations and assistance with university selection.
- Support with document preparation, including collection and legalization (nostrification), and submission to universities.
- Assistance in obtaining a student visa.
- Airport pickup and student welcome services.
- Help with finding and booking housing, plus move-in support.
- Guidance in registering a local address and obtaining a Polish ID number.
- Consultation on obtaining a residence permit and legalizing stay in Poland.
AcademGo partners with 10 universities across Poland and, over the course of more than three years, has worked with students from over 20 different countries.
Goals and Objectives of the Partnership
The main reason was a complete lack of search engine optimization. While the client was aware that additional marketing solutions were needed, they weren’t sure how to move forward. Realizing that the issue required professional expertise, they were looking for specialists who could:
- Identify website issues and develop effective solutions.
- Grow monthly website traffic to 300-400 visitors within six months.
- Increase the number of inbound requests alongside traffic growth.
The client's expectations were realistic. They understood that SEO does not yield instant results but were hoping to see steady, incremental progress. Since the site had never generated leads before, no specific inquiry targets were set.
Our SEO Strategy and Implementation
At the start of the project, we identified several core issues: the website lacked proper structure, had no optimized pages, and offered little content that matched user intent. Additionally, it lacked a primary language version. The existing language versions were implemented through subdirectories such as /ru and /en, which caused several problems:
- No primary version made indexing in search engines more difficult.
- Most traffic was directed to the subdirectories, affecting overall ranking and site perception.
- Hreflang tags were not properly configured, which led to confusion between language versions
- Implemented a default language version of the site at the root domain and kept other versions in subdirectories, correctly configuring hreflang attributes.
- Conducted a technical SEO audit and fixed errors that were hindering indexing and ranking.
- Developed an optimized site structure.
- Conducted keyword research.
- Created a task list for optimizing pages based on the site’s semantic core.
- Developed a content plan for the client to write SEO-friendly texts to attract organic traffic.
- Performed a usability audit and proposed a set of actions to enhance the user experience.
