Promoting a Real Estate Agency in the Agricultural Sector: How We Nearly Increased Organic Traffic by 100 Times and Achieved Our First Conversions

However, within less than a year, the client began receiving their first conversions — a promising result. Here’s how we made it happen.

About the Client

LARGOS is the first agency in Ukraine specializing in agricultural real estate.

The company provides professional assistance with buying, selling, and leasing agricultural businesses, farms, grain elevators, oil processing facilities, and farmland. The agency’s specialists also offer legal support for transactions and a wide range of audit, accounting, and land management services.

The company has offices in Odesa, and its website serves as a platform where potential buyers can search for desired properties, and sellers can post their listings.

Key Objectives of the Partnership

The client created the website at the end of 2021 and hired us to handle its SEO promotion. With the start of the full-scale war, work was paused but resumed in November 2023. Our promotional goal was initially to attract property and industrial asset sellers within the agricultural sector to the site and, over time, bring in buyers as well.

Initial Situation and Actions Taken

Initially, the site lacked pages dedicated to different property types. We designed a layout, began adding text to each section, and included a dedicated block for different real estate categories.

To improve indexing and usability, we carried out the following tasks:
  • Restructured the menu;
  • Added breadcrumbs and filters to make searching for properties easier;
  • Displayed the rating in the search result snippet.

Since the website is on WordPress, we encountered a virus issue, so we installed plugins to block suspicious traffic and prevent hacking attempts.

Results of Our Collaboration

As of September 2024, our efforts have achieved the following:

  • Increased Google search traffic to 250 users (up from just 3 in November 2023);;
  • Brought 70% of keywords into the top 10 rankings;
  • Achieved 5 conversions in August and 10 in September.

This result is impressive, considering the unique agricultural properties offered, the high transaction value, and the numerous factors that must be considered in the process. Demand for agricultural properties is also highly influenced by the country’s economic situation, which is further complicated by the current state of war.

The project’s main challenge was the competition with major platforms that had a significant advantage in the number of listings.
